The Eastern Gray Squirrel has a gray body with a white belly. Its gray coat may occassionally have a redish color in it.

Distribution: Eastern North America  
 
Squirrels in general have a tendency to collect food and then hide it in various placed in an attempt to save it for later. The Eastern Gray Squirrel can be quite the pest to humans due to its habit of digging up flower bulbs and climbing into bird feeders to eat the bird seed.
