The Rock Pigeon used to be known as the Rock Dove. These Pigeons can live up to 15 years in captivity, but normally only survive for about 4 years in the wild. Their overall colour is a shade of grey, with a white section on their backs. Two black bars also adorn their wings. They are a very hardy bird, and take off into flight very quickly.
