Tomato Clownfish get their name from their active disposition and very colourful body. They are very hardy as pets which makes them an ideal pet fish.

Latin Name: Amphiprion frenatus Lifespan: 6 to 8 years
Distribution: Western Pacific Estimated Size: 3.5 to 4"
 
When Tomato Clownfish are still in their juvenile stage they have white bands around their body. These rings slowly disappear as the fish grows older. They will almost always retain one of these white strips which is location just behind their eyes.
